Who will be the charismatic new heroes of the great tactical RPG fresco coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch? The answer here with a generous focus on two brothers of royal descent with very different characters.
Fire Emblem back soon on Nintendo Switch
Exclusive to Nintendo Switch, the next chapter in the great Fire Emblem tactical RPG saga has so far only made too few appearances on the front of the news. Last week, however, a new trailer allowed us to learn more about the game’s universe, its background and its characters. Today, no less than two heroes of the game are at the center of communication from Intelligent Systems on Fire Emblem Engage!
Two “Lords” revealed in Fire Emblem Engage
It is through social networks that the Intelligent Systems teams have chosen to introduce us to two of the main heroes who will be at the heart of this completely new opus in the saga. The first of them, Diamant, is the crown prince of the kingdom of Brodia and deeply respects his father, the king. His honest and serious personality earned him the trust of his subjects. In terms of gameplay, Diamant will have the class of Lord (“Lord”) in Fire Emblem Engage and can evolve thereafter when he has proven himself on the battlefield. This protagonist should be able to guide his people to victory thanks to his skills as a swordsman and the majesty that emanates from him.
Diamond has a simple, stubborn, and serious personality, but he has great respect for his father, the king. Diamond’s initial class type is “Lord”. He has the blood of a monarch to lead his people and wields his sword with great skill. Diamant has an imposing bearing and dignity as the next king of the Kingdom of Brodia and seems to have a good relationship with the Kingdom of Filene. – FireEmblemJP on Twitter
It’s hard not to compare it to his younger brother, Alcryst, whose lack of self-confidence causes him to underestimate his abilities. He too will begin the adventure as a Lord but will stand out with his astonishing skills as an archer. These two gameplay sequences allow us to concretely appreciate the skills of these two protagonists on the ground. Feel free to watch them while waiting for more information about Fire Emblem Engage, which is scheduled for release on January 20, 2023.
Alcryst is the second prince of the Kingdom of Brodia and Diamond’s younger brother. He often compares himself to his more accomplished older brother and belittles himself in his remarks. He has low self-esteem and a backward personality. But he is sociable and has a strong sense of royalty. – FireEmblemJP on Twitter
