Ricardo Guillermo Crespo Greenham, a former member of the Garibaldi group, was sentenced to 19 years in prison after being found guilty of the crime of aggravated sexual abuse against his daughter.

The office that represents the aggrieved, Abogados Ramírez Penilla Rubio Cuadra Abogados SC, reported in a statement that a judge of the Superior Court of Justice of Mexico City issued the sentence on May 3, but today reported on the matter.

“We know that absolute compensation is impossible for victims of sexual violence for the violation of human rights to which they were subjected and the profound impact it has on them, however, this legal advisor hopes that obtaining justice will contribute to the recovery of a full life for VCR and his family,” the dispatch wrote.

The former Garibaldi was arrested in February 2021 for this crime and was linked to the process.

According to the investigations, Ricardo Guillermo would have sexually abused his daughter between the ages of 5 and 14. It was until the victim decided to talk about what happened and then supported by his mother to act criminally.
