Christián Santos became the last and longed-for nine that Gustavo Quinteros requested so much from the leadership of Blanco y Negro. The new Colo Colo striker wants to arrive in the country as soon as possible.
However, for many, his footballing present is unknown. The attacker has not added football for 4 months and has played all his life in European football, this being his first experience at club level in South America.
That is why DaleAlbo spoke with Beto da Silva, former teammate of Christian Santos at Deportivo La Coruña, who gave us a little insight into the qualities of the colocolino reinforcement.
The Peruvian fought with Santos and only had words of praise. “I shared a team and we were roommates in the concentrations, I can say that he is a great player and an excellent person. I have a lot of affection for him”, started.
Beto da Silva also highlighted the adaptation he will have to South American football at club level for the first time. “Without a doubt he will adapt, it is a different football but I think he can contribute a lot with his game because it is very intense, physically and technically very good”, clarified.
He also added that Santos will break it in Colo Colo. “He has all the conditions. I wish him all the best and that he can return to play for the national team, which is one of his goals. They made an excellent signing.”, he expressed.
Finally he gave notice of the contortions that the player makes, whether they are Chilean, volleys or scissors. “He does those constantly and practices them a lot, without a doubt he is one of the best finishers I have played with”, he sentenced.
