Fortnite: Chapter 2 will end on December 4 with a great event: The End

Few remember the action of that October 2019, when Fortnite: Chapter 2 began. Since then, players have starred in great battles in the battle royal, but the second chapter of the video game already has a date for its end.

It will be this December 4 at 4:00 in the afternoon, Eastern time of the United States, when Chapter 2 ends with a great event, which is called The End, as in the end of Chapter 1.

With The Convergence complete, The Cube Queen prepares its final game for the Island and nothing will ever be the same again. Grab your weapons and fight the ultimate destroyer of all reality”Epic Games wrote in a blog post.

Through the game’s YouTube channel, they posted a 20-second video announcing the event. The short trailer shows four characters who landed on the island and in front of them are the powerful The Cube Queen.

Details on the end of Chapter 2

The closing event of Chapter 1 was also called The End, which blew up the original island in spectacular fashion. Fortnite was offline for a few days before Chapter 2, which began with a completely new map.

Among other updates, Epic Games also brought a new user interface and new mechanics in Chapter 2. It is very likely that for the next season there will be more changes as the company looms by warning that “nothing will be the same” after the event of 4 from December.

In the report on the website of Engadget, recommend that if you have Battle Stars or Stripes, use them before the end of the season as they will not carry over to Chapter 3.

Starting November 30, character services and Exotic item exchanges will be discounted during Bargain Bin Week. Fortnite will redeem unused Battle Stars automatically for the first available rewards. And if you have any remaining missions that you want to complete, now might be the time to finish them.

Squads of up to 16 players can experience The End together. The event playlist will open at 3:30 pm, so it’s probably worth joining early to secure a spot.

Everyone who logs into the game before the event ends will receive a bonus of 225,000 XP. Those who participate in the event will also unlock a special loading screen and wrapping.

On Chapter 3 and updates there is no news so far. Recently, it was known that Epic Games acquired Harmonix, the developer of Rock Band and Guitar Hero, with the intention of working on Fortnite.

As for what Epic plans to do with Harmonix’s legacy as a creator of musical and rhythmic games, it remains a secret, but the company claims that they will be working on “musical journeys and gameplay for Fortnite”, described by Epic as part of their metaverse plans.
