France: the CSA asks the media to count the speaking time of Eric Zemmour

Lhe Superior Audiovisual Council (CSA) asks the audiovisual media to “count”, from Thursday, “the interventions” of the flagship polemicist of CNews, Eric Zemmour, “relating to the national political debate”, in a decision rendered public Wednesday.

“In view of recent developments”, the CSA “considered that Mr. Zemmour could be looked at from now on, as much by his positions and his actions, as by the comments to which they give rise, as an actor of the national political debate”, justifies the regulator in a press release.

Day after day, the polemicist Eric Zemmour seems to be approaching a candidacy for the presidential election at the time of starting, in mid-September, the promotion of a new test which will give rise to “exchanges with the French” at the scent of election campaign.
