Futuroscope, in Poitiers, is making heavy investments to reaffirm its ambitions

Despite the pandemic, the shareholders have undertaken to modernize and improve the amusement park by injecting 304 million euros over 10 years. The goal is to bring more visitors, from further and for longer.

Pfirst mega amusement park to have opened in France, in 1987, two years before Parc Astérix and five years before EuroDisney, Futuroscope recently celebrated its 35th anniversary. Modestly, but affirming – or rather, reaffirming… – through colossal investments its ambitions compared to the competition.
