Galaxy S21 line receives the May security package for Android in Brazil

The smartphone owners of the line Galaxy S21 in Brazil started to receive the update with the security package for the Android operating system with the One UI user interface for the month of May 2022.

The update was made available by Samsung earlier this month in international markets and now it has also started to arrive for devices in Brazil. THE new firmware version is identified as G991BXXU5CVDD and is 890 MB in size.

The update’s changelog cites improvements in the quality of photos taken with social media or camera apps downloaded from the store, as well as optimizations in automatic framing and night mode for sensors.

In addition, the new firmware build closes security holes and also promises to optimize the other features and performance of the device as a whole.

It is worth remembering that the distribution of the update is gradual and, therefore, it may take time to reach all Brazilian users. If you want to check availability, the path is simple: Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.

Samsung released this Monday the may security patch for the Galaxy S21 line. The novelty was confirmed by several users in Western Europe.

According to those who already had access to the update, it brings the numbering G991BXXU5CVDD and corrects about 80 vulnerabilities found in Androidin addition to security flaws present in Samsung’s proprietary interface.

The changelog also cites the presence of some improvements for night mode, automatic framing, for video calling apps and camera quality adjustment in social media apps.

For now, the update is being released slowly and gradually in batches. So, if you have a Galaxy S21, S21 Plus or S21 Ultra, the best option is to wait or fetch the update manually.

Samsung releases April 2022 security patch update for the Galaxy S21 line

A day after announcing which devices will receive the new One UI 4.1, Samsung wasted no time and already started the distribution of the software for the Galaxy S21 line. The news was shared by several users in Canada.

According to posts on Reddit and on the official XDA forum, the Galaxy S21, S21 Plus and S21 Ultra are already being updated, with only Snapdragon models having this initial support.
