Norwegian semi-finals

FaZe is coming off a disappointing major tournament in Rio, where they not only exited the tournament early, but also lost first place on HLTV.org’s world rankings. The team is now in eighth place.

Nygaard and FaZe will be hungry for revenge after Majorem and showed no mercy in the group stage where they swept both OG and Heroic off the field.

The aforementioned Heroic still managed to secure a semi-final spot against Liquid, as they won their quarter-final match against G2. The Norwegian-owned organization comes to the tournament in good shape after an impressive display in Rio, where they could celebrate second place and close to NOK 1,700,000 in prize money.

Here, eight teams will fight for the opportunity to walk away with NOK 5,000,000. The decisive Blast tournament will be played in the United Arab Emirates between 14-18 December.
