Genshin Impact: how to participate in the event "Spices From the West"

Genshin Impact is getting another event, “Spices From the West”, where players will be able to earn “EXP” and get various rewards. Although at the beginning of the month Hoyoverse (formerly miHoYo) had shared some information about the events that would take place in its RPG, only now has the studio revealed all the information about it.

The announced Genshin event is geared towards cooking involving spices. The player will have to create different recipes to please the guest characters. By doing so, you will increase your companion EXP.

When will it be – Event period

Genshin Impact’s “Spices From the West” event will run from May 14 to June 7.

What is needed to participate in the event?

According to Hoyoverse, the player will need to have an adventure rank of at least 20 or higher to be able to craft spices. Also, to complete the “Idle Teapot Talk” quest, you must have at least an adventure rank of 28 to cook dishes and invite characters to taste the flavor.

Genshin Impact “Spices From the West”: Event Details

In the first 7 days of the event, a new spice recipe will be unlocked. The player must follow the recipes to create “Fragrant Seasonings” to get rewards. According to Hoyoverse (formerly miHoYo), by completing Genshin Impact’s “Spices From the West” event quests, the player can earn Primogems, Hero’s Wit, Weapon Ascension Materials and Mora.

By adding “fragrant spices” to dishes, the player will obtain “fragrant dishes”. After preparing them, invite characters to try them out and thus increase their companion EXP. It’s important to note that there is a limit to the number of times you can get Companion EXP during the event.

When you reach adventure rank 28, you will be able to complete the quest “A Teapot to Call Home” and thus unlock the Serenitea Pot (“Serenitea Pot”). Once that’s done, accept the “Idle Teapot Talk” quest to get the “Realm Dispatch” to cook and invite characters to try dishes. If the maintenance of the Serenitea pot placement function ends during the event, players will be able to invite teammates who are resting to stay in the “Serenitea Pot”.

Note that after June 7th, “spices” and “aromatic dishes” will be removed from the characters’ inventory.
