Genshin Impact game just won a Visa credit card through the partnership between HoYoverse and China Merchants Bank. The credit card is themed after the character Ganyu and its existence was confirmed by a post on the Chinese social network Weibo.
This partnership with the Chinese bank and Visa is not the first. There has already been a crossover with Pizza Hut, for example. Unfortunately, Ganyu’s Visa credit card is limited to residents of China, but if this momentum of cooperation continues, it is possible that something will happen in the West.
Genshin Impact Wins Ganyu’s Official Visa Credit Card
The Visa credit card of the character Ganyu from Genshin Impact launched by China Merchants Bank has contactless (approximation) and chip (inserting the card in the machine) payment options. The card art consists of an image of Ganyu with his name written on it, as well as a Union Pay logo. The color chosen for the card is light blue and in the background there are clouds.
It remains to be seen whether or not there will be a limited amount for the production of the Genshin Impact credit card by China Merchants Bank. But considering other crossovers, the card will likely be available for a limited time only.
Of course, many Genshin players have commented on various posts about Ganyu’s Visa card saying it’s a shame it’s only available in China, suggesting that due to its success, it should be made available to other regions.
