PSeveral thousand people protested in Germany on Saturday against measures to contain the spread of the coronavirus and compulsory vaccination, while smaller groups staged counter-demonstrations.

In Stuttgart, protesters stopped outside the building of public broadcaster Südwestrundfunk (SWR) to criticize media coverage of the pandemic.

They repeated the calls “Lügenpresse” (false press) and “Wir sind das Volk” (We are the people), a witness said. The police ordered the participants to wear protective masks.
