Gladbach announces Wolf diagnosis

The first half of the season went well for Hannes Wolf. As announced by Borussia Mönchengladbach, the 23-year-old offensive player tore a labrum in his shoulder joint in the 3-0 win against RB Leipzig on Saturday. Wolfs had to leave the pitch four minutes after being substituted on.

Gladbach coach Daniel Farke says: “Hannes is just about to be examined by a specialist. A decision is then made as to whether the shoulder needs to be operated on or whether it can be treated conservatively. But even in the second case, he will be out for four to six weeks.”
