Announced in 2020, delayed in 2021 to 2022, the action RPG Gotham Knights is now available for pre-order. In Gotham Knights, players take on the roles of Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin, the new guard of trained DC superheroes tasked with protecting Gotham City after Batman’s death. Unravel mysteries related to the city’s darkest chapters or face off against notorious villains in epic confrontations.
In line with this, Warner Bros. Games and DC today presented the first official gameplay of Nightwing and Red Hood in Gotham Knights. Narrated by Game Director Geoff Ellenor, the new video gives a greater look at two playable characters, Nightwing and Red Hood, as they enforce law and order in Gotham City while uncovering clues surrounding the mysterious Council of Owls. The gameplay introduction fully showcases the two heroes’ different fighting techniques and locomotion in the open world, from Nightwing’s unique acrobatic fighting style and air glider to Red Hood’s dual weapon use and powerful jumping abilities.
Gotham Knights will be released worldwide on October 25, 2022 for5, Series X|S and PC released. Die-hard fans can shell out a hefty sum: starting today, Gotham Knights is available to pre-order physically in stores or digitally on PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Steam and the Epic Games Store.
The Gotham Knights Standard Edition is available digitally and boxed for €74.99 (RRP). Available digitally and boxed for €94.99 (MSRP), the Gotham Knights Deluxe Edition includes the base game plus the Visionary Pack downloadable content (DLC) with exclusive gear, cosmetic items, the Of-the-Future suit style from the Batman of the Future animated series and much more.
The strictly limited physical Gotham Knights Collector’s Edition is available for €299.99 (RRP). It includes the Deluxe Edition, the collectible augmented reality pin, the 16-page media book, an exclusive map of Gotham City, a diorama with four character statues and much more. Additionally, with every pre-order, players will receive the 233 custom Batcycle skin, based on the vehicle’s first appearance in DC Detective Comic #233.
