Twenty-one families of war veterans and ex-combatants of the armed conflict received this day contribution certificates for the construction of a suitable house, through the Ministry of Housing-FONAVIPO and the Administrative Institute of the Benefits of Veterans and Ex-combatants, within the framework of the government program to meet the needs of this sector of the population.
“We have instructions from our president Nayib Bukele to assist you, and work for you, now with facts we are showing you that this government is one of action,” Housing Minister Michelle Sol told the beneficiaries. She added: “The president wants social welfare for families, so that you can feel proud of being Salvadorans”.
The beneficiary families are from Ilobasco, Sensuntepeque and Villa Dolores, in Cabañas; Citalá, Nueva Concepción, San Ignacio, Santa Rita and Tejutla, in Chalatenango; Chalchuapa and San Sebastián Salitrillo, in Santa Ana. The amount assigned to each family, on this day, will be used to start the works: foundations, erection of walls. Then, they will receive another amount to finish the work on the houses.
The Minister of Housing, Michelle Sol, and the president of the Veterans and Ex-combatants Benefits Administration Institute (INABVE), Juan Alberto Ortiz, participated in the delivery of contributions.
“You have done a good job, the era of the delivery of shacks is over, I am glad that you recognize that this Government is changing the way you live with the delivery of a permanent home”, INABVE president, Juan Alberto Ortiz.
For his part, Silvestre Escobar, one of the beneficiaries, said: «Thanks to President Nayib Bukele because I looked far away from this benefit, thanks to the efforts of the Institute and the Ministry that daily seek to support us. Today, I feel proud, this has never happened before.
