Green light for Amazon’s Blade Runner 2099 starring Ridley Scott

What is known about Blade Runner 2099 so far?

The title Blade Runner 2099 indicates that the series will be 50 years after the 2017 theatrical film Blade Runner 2049 by director Denis Villeneuve. The details of the plot are still being kept secret. However, it is already known that it is a limited series will act and thus probably only one season will be produced.

Blade Runner 2099 will be the first live-action adaptation of Blade Runner in series format after the Anime series Blade Runner: Black Lotus premiered in November 2021.
