Colo Colo will experience an important week facing the challenges posed for the 2021 season. This is because on Wednesday he will face Unión Española in the second leg for the Copa Chile semifinal where in the first leg he obtained an important advantage of 4-0 so they hope to seal the classification to the final to be played on Saturday in Talca.
If he wins the cup, the Cacique will win the Chile 4 quota for the next edition of the Copa Libertadores 2022, fulfilling one of his main objectives for the season early.
However, for these duels, Gustavo Quinteros will not be able to count on two of his main figures. Gabriel Costa and Iván Morales who will be part of the South American Qualifiers heading to Qatar 2022 with their respective teams. Both players have been headlines in much of the campaign of the popular cast and questions already arise regarding their replacements.
In the case of Morales, there are only two options: Javier Parraguez and Luciano Arriagada. While the replacement for Costa will emerge between Marcos Bolados, Ignacio Jara and Carlos Villanueva. Everything will depend on the system you want to use Quinteros.
In offensive the last antecedent indicates that Parraguez was the alternative of Morales. While, in midfield, Jara was the first midfielder to see action against Cobresal. However, it would not be surprising that Quinteros tries new alternatives for the next duels.
Colo Colo’s closest challenge will be on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. against Unión Española at the Santa Laura Stadium.
The decisions that Quinteros must make.
