Here are the games you should consider during the offer week

Then Black Week was underway, and the first really good offers on games have arrived.

Steam and other digital markets are usually the trickiest place to find deals, but Steam hasn’t started yet. We therefore do not include PC games in this list yet.

In the meantime, it is possible to save quite a bit on physical console games. We have trawled through all the offers and picked the ones we think are the best buys.

The case is updated every day.

A Plague Tale: Requiem

The sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence made a big impression on our reviewer this autumn.

Andreas Bjørnbekk gave the game 9/10 and thought A Plague Tale: Requiem could be the year’s most unique gaming experience.

Here one should use a little patience to get through the first few hours, because there is a gripping narrative that awaits those who brave this beautiful adventure.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II

It didn’t take long before this was on the floor, granted. This year’s round on the battlefield is still quite expensive, but you can save a few extra kroner if you want to play while there is still life in the servers.

We weren’t particularly impressed with Modern Warfare II in our review earlier this month, but you get about what you expect.

It’s Call of Duty. You get Call of Duty. Yes. You know what it’s all about, sort of.

God of War: Ragnarök

It is almost possible to call this a discount when you include shipping, but it is possible to save a few kroner on the steaming fresh big game in Black Week.

The game is one of the few that has received a top rating from us in Gamer.no this year.

Reporter Espen Jansen was initially concerned that the developer had done a little too much of the same as in the previous game, but that impression was turned on its head as he got further and further into the game.

Almost the entire international gaming press seems to agree that this is an excellent entry in the God of War series.

Those who have not played the first game in the series can also pick it up for under a fiver.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves (PS5)

Do you feel that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End was really unplayable because of too bad graphics? No? Wait, yes, you say?

Well, then this is the perfect opportunity to brush up on the latest, action-packed adventure in the Uncharted series.

Here you get both the main game and the expansion Lost Legacy in a shiny, new package for PlayStation 5. The game is also out on PC, so there is a good chance that a discount will appear on Steam eventually.

Gran Turismo 7

Is this the best car game ever?

That’s what our reporter asked in his test this spring. Andreas Bjørnbekk gave a 10/10 and called the game a masterpiece.

He actually went so far as to call it a “Shakespearean love letter to car enthusiasts”. Here I have possibly killed two birds with one stone by finding both the car game of all time and the Gamer.no conclusion of all time.

It’s not every day you get to do something like this.

The price is still the same considering that several months have passed since the launch, but it has not been as cheap as it is now. Here you can enjoy yourself for many, many hours for quite a few kroner.

Flåklypa Grand Prix

What about a direct injection of nostalgia, right in the years?

We paid tribute to the developers at Ravn Studio, Rock Pocket Games and Invictus Games for the new version of the legendary Norwegian game from 2000, in our message last year.

Several of the online stores have both the Switch and PC versions of the game on offer at a fraction of what it cost when it came out last year.

Maybe it’s time to sit down to glow?

Horizon Forbidden West

Aloy is back, and has got more space to frolic, more robots to kill and new challenges to solve. And this week you can join her on the trip for less money than ever.

Our reviewer thinks the game was disappointing compared to its predecessor, and even gave the game 6 out of 10.

In any case, one of the biggest games of the year is at a record low price level.

The Last of Us Part II

Naughty Dog served up a polished action party like no other in the long-awaited sequel, where we had a new meeting with familiar and beloved characters from The Last of Us universe. Part two is a controversial game, perhaps the most controversial ever, and many probably have a love-hate relationship with it.

Here at the house I melted with a nine when we announced the game in 2020.

Now the game is available at a record low price. NOK 39 is almost free. Almost.

The Last of Us Part I (PS5)

When I first get into The Last of Us, it is possible to pick up this somewhat fresher version of the predecessor at a record low price.

NOK 400 is stiff for a game that has been launched in quite different editions before, but it is in any case a substantial discount from the launch price for such a recent launch (at least this edition).

Spider-Man: Miles Morales (PS4/PS5)

The extra adventure to the very solid Spider-Man game from 2018 launched together with the PlayStation 5, and has now received a solid price reduction.

“As an additional chapter to 2018’s Spider-Man, Spider-Man: Miles Morales is an excellent sequel. Although much is the same, there is enough new here to captivate – both for those who are completely new to Insomniac’s interpretation of the superhero, and for those who enjoyed the predecessor,” we wrote in our message.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition

The adventure with Shepard and the gang has never looked as good as in this version, said our reporter last year.

Me still at 9/10 in our report, and concluded that the renovation manages to stay faithful to the original, while at the same time raising the experience a few notches.

Today, the game is available for a record low price. Here are many hours of fun for those on console.
