Hoffenheim’s director of professional football Alexander Rosen says: “Stanley brings everything we were looking for with his profile for the central defender position. He is extremely fast, defends uncompromisingly and has a strong left foot. In addition, at 23, Stanley is still a developing player, but he already has plenty of experience at a high level.”

Nsoki explains: “When the request came from Hoffenheim, it quickly became clear to me that I wanted to take this step. The way football is thought about and played at TSG suits me perfectly and the Bundesliga is extremely appealing to me.”

Twelve million euros fee

TSG dig deep into their pockets for Nsoki’s services. Thanks to the sale of national player David Raum (24) to RB Leipzig, the same is currently well filled. Of the 26 million euros that were raised, 12 million now go to Bruges.

Nsoki was trained at Paris St. Germain, then transferred to Nice in 2019 and to Belgium a year ago. He can play both central and back left and thus fill the room position – albeit in a much more defensive way.
