IMSS Quintana Roo continues taking vaccines to patients at their homes

Due to the increase in coronavirus infections, the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) Quintana Roo in collaboration with the Secretary of State Welfare has carried out the day of vaccination at home

This program has been designed mainly for all those outpatients who request the vaccination service directly at their private homes.

“The vaccination brigade, made up of health personnel, has gone to private homes to advance in the immunization process of the Quintana Roo population,” explained Jose Miguel Van Dick Puga, head of the IMSS.

“Due to some medical condition, patients are unable to visit the vaccination cells installed in their locality and our commitment to this day is to guarantee their health,” he said.

According to the owner, during this week of mobile vaccination, the Cancino brand vaccines corresponding to the first and second doses were being applied, as well as the efforts corresponding to the Vaccination Scheme.

Violeta Díaz Rodríguez, coordinator of Social Communication of the Institute announced that vaccination day has been carried out throughout the city of cancun.
