Inauguration of flights from AIFA to Puerto Escondido and Oaxaca

The Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) in Mexico City, increased its offer with two new destinations, in that sense, this Friday the Oaxaca Tourism Secretariat (Sectur Oaxaca) inaugurated the new routes operated by the Volaris airline to Puerto Escondido and the city of Oaxaca.

In that sense, it was detailed that the routes to Puerto Escondido will have operations on the days tuesday, thursday and saturdaywhile the route to Oaxaca will have 4 departures per week, on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Each route will have at its disposal an Airbus A320 team with a capacity of 186 passengers. On the other hand, it was detailed that Puerto Escondido, the new flight represents an increase of 2,400 seats on average; and in the case of the city of Oaxaca, the increase is 3,200 seats on average.

Regarding departure times, the AIFA – Puerto Escondido flight departs at 6:36 a.m. and the Puerto Escondido – AIFA flight at 8:17 a.m.; the AIFA – Oaxaca route at 6:30 a.m. and from the city of Oaxaca to AIFA at 8:13 a.m..

The State of Oaxaca now has 16 more routes, with the recent opening of two flights. In addition, there are already six routes that operate from the AIFA to the entity’s main destinations: Oaxaca City (Aeroméxico, Viva Aerobús and Volaris), Bahías de Huatulco (Volaris) and Puerto Escondido (Viva Aerobús and Volaris).
