Jamil Siebert has been playing on loan for Viktoria Köln in the third division for a year. And there, too, foreign first division teams scout. As the ‘Bild’ reports, AS Roma with star coach José Mourinho and Nottingham Forest from the Premier League want the 20-year-old “prefer to commit immediately”.
Advisor Alexis Portselis confirms: “It’s true that the two clubs are interested in Jamil. You have contacted us and inquired about the contractual situation. Jamil is very well regarded in England and Italy, having had requests from Leicester City and AC Milan in the past.”
Siebert is a German U20 international (six appearances). In the third division he is a regular in central defence. He is contractually bound to Fortuna Düsseldorf until 2025. For a move abroad, a fee would have to be negotiated with the second division club.
