Jaime Valdés marked an era by wearing the Colo Colo shirt in the middle of the last decade, arriving in 2014 to win the 30 star and be a pillar in the Cacique’s midfield from then on.
Unfortunately, every story has an end and the Bird knows it, since it ended up leaving the Monumental after the anticipated end of the 2019 season, changing the target of Colo Colo by the garnet of Deportes La Serena, club where he was for only one season.
Today in the Second Professional Division defending San Antonio Unido, Valdés is debating what will be the future thinking about 2022, especially thinking in his 40 years and wishes to play in First again.
In conversation with LUN, the former Colo Colo made this position clear, even stating that If an offer from the highest category of our football does not arrive, they will study the option of hanging the boots and definitively withdraw from the activity.
“At the end of the year I will see what happens, I feel good physically and I want to continue playing. I had an offer to continue in La Serena, and two or three teams from A and four from B called me, but I wanted to take on this challenge of going down two divisions “said the Bird.

In that sense, the flyer stated that “I’d like to go back to A. If I don’t get an offer from Primera, I could retire. It’s that I need to play to be champion ”.
Valdes has played ten matches with the SAU shirt in this 2021 season of the Second Professional Division, a contest where the lilacs currently march in sixth position with 18 points, nine behind Deportes Recoleta.
