Jonathann Daval: his mother denies that he had a relationship in prison

Jonathann Daval’s mother denied to The Republican East the existence of a romantic relationship between her son and another man in prison. She calls for respect for “his private life”.

Jonathann Daval denies – through the voice of his mother – having a romantic relationship with a man. Martine Henry, calling for respect for her son’s “private life”, claims to have asked him the question on Sunday during a visit. “Jonathann assures me that it is false, he does not see where it can come from”, she explains to The Republican East.

In 2020, the Haute-Saône Assize Court sentenced Jonathann Daval to 25 years in prison for the murder of his wife Alexia. No appeal has been filed against this sentence. After being placed in solitary confinement, the former computer scientist has since been serving his sentence at the central house of Ensisheim, in the Haut-Rhin.

Jonathann Daval’s mother assures that her son is “afraid for his life, afraid of being attacked for something that does not exist”. She calls to “leave alone” the young man who has been “judged”.

On Saturday, on the BFMTV antenna, Me Randall Schwerdorffer also commented on this information, believing that his client wanted to have “a right to be forgotten”.

The lawyer also recalls in The Republican East that his client’s private life was explored during the investigation.
