In Isère, Véran sheltered
The Minister for Relations with Parliament should keep his place in the government. The former Minister of Health Olivier Véran was re-elected without too much difficulty by collecting, on Sunday, 67.46% of the votes cast against 32.54% for the candidate of Nupes, Salomé Robin. A familiar face to the French during the long covid epidemic, Olivier Véran confirmed his popularity with voters in the 1st constituency of Isère, where Emmanuel Macron won nearly 80% of the votes in the second round of the presidential election.
