Leonardo Gil has been one of the most important players in this 2021 season for Colo Colo, being a vital piece in the midfield of Gustavo Quinteros along with Vicente Pizarro and César Fuentes.
The steering wheel has valued this year wearing the popular shirt, especially for the affection that his family has for the Cacique. In the past, the U and the UC sought his services, but deep down he was waiting for the call from Colo Colo to come to Chile.
In conversation with the DirecTV program Más Que Fútbol, the flyer stated that “The first time I was able to come to Chile it was because of a call from Gustavo Quinteros to go to UC, then U called me. This year Colo Colo called me, my family is a fan, I chose well. I am very happy here ”.
“We are very happy that the fans can join us. One longs to be in a big club to have a full stadium, that the fans support us, especially feel that and that we do well ”, added.
In that sense, he chose the place on the court where he feels most pleasant and his wishes to wear the shirt of the Chilean team: “I feel comfortable playing as a mixed midfielder, I like to create a game, be in contact with the ball, distribute the game.”
