In this week’s Torpet celebrity, two contestants enter from the Farmen celebrity farm. One of these is the defeated challenger Aurora Gude (30).

The influencer and TV personality ends up in a duel with Eli Kari Gjengedal (51), and chooses the “knife” as branch.

The duel is well under way, when one of the participants realizes that the chances are lost. Then the knife is tilted from the hand.

Before it got bad

It was weather anchor Gjengedal that lost the duel. She wanted to give up before her arm was too badly affected by the duel.

– My hand is starting to shake a little, and I don’t want to have it corrected. I felt it was a bit more elegant to flip it off, and just take it like a woman, she says in the episode.

– It’s not nice. I don’t want to stand like that, she says about shaking from holding her arm up for too long.

Afterwards, she tells TV 2 that despite the fact that it’s not nice to lose, it was perfectly fine for her.

– Aurora was very motivated to stay at Torpet and fight her way back to Farmen kendis. A motivated 30-year-old – you shouldn’t skimp on that, says Gjengedal.

Counted weather reports in my head

Ahead of the duel, Gjengedal and her friend Ingeborg Myhre (47) had practiced different disciplines. When they practiced the “knife”, Gjengedal went through weather forecasts in his head to know how much time had passed.

Her record was seven minutes.

During the duel against Gude, she did the same. When she had reached seven minutes in her head, she realized that the battle was lost. She had already had lactic acid, and the competitor seemed to be unaffected.

– I had promised that I would do my best, but my hands are very weak. Strength is not my strong point and Aurora is rock trained, and had prepared well for it. I knew she could take me any day of the week, says the weather anchor to TV 2.

That’s when she flipped the knife out of her hand.

– I don’t stand there shaking when I don’t see a single sign of fatigue.

It hurts to leave my friend

“The knife” was the branch Gjengedal feared most in duels. However, she was not surprised that it was precisely this God chose.

– I knew that. If you’re excited to be here, you’ll take the knife. I would have been very surprised if she had taken something else, says Gjengedal.

She says that it was nice to go to benefit a person who had a strong motivation to stay on the farm. It was also painful to leave my good friend, Ingeborg Myhre.

– That was sad. I knew she was struggling with motivation.

Watch the tearful exit in the video window at the top of the story.

All in all, Gjengedal is satisfied with her three weeks at Torpet farm.
