the chief of staff, John Manzurreceived the leaders of the General Labor Center (CGT) this afternoon, with whom he met for more than an hour and a half at Casa Rosada together with the future deputy chief of staff John Manuel Olmos.
From the workers’ union participated: the general secretaries of the CGT, Hector Daer Y Carlos Acunaand union leaders Andres Rodriguez (UPCN), Jose Luis Lingeri (Sanitary Works) and Alexander Love (Sutecba).
Manzur informed through his official account of Twitter: “Together we analyze this new stage that we are going through from the Government and we weigh the transversal axes to generate more employment and development opportunities, based on the impulse to production and in the articulation with the different sectors of the national economy”.

“We had a very good meeting, in which the importance of securing current jobs was addressed, but also of increasing future employment opportunities based on investment, increased production and adding value to what Argentina produces”, remarked Manzur at the end of the meeting, as reported by the Chief of Staff.
The leaders of the workers’ union left the Casa Rosada without making any statements in this regard, so it is not known whether the August 17 demonstration is still going on.
Hours earlier, the chief of staff had also met with the directors of the Argentine Industrial Union (UIA), with whom he advanced in the “elaboration of a common work agenda with the aim of promoting the federal development of our industry and continue fostering job creation”.
