This Thursday, November 25, 2021, a new anniversary of the death of Diego Armando Maradona is commemorated, who a year ago left us in this life after suffer a cardiorespiratory arrest at home in Buenos Aires from which he could not get up.

The memories around the world soccer star have not stopped throughout the day, one of them being the heartfelt message of Marcelo Pablo Barticciotto, who like a good Argentine knew how to get excited with what Pelusa was doing with the ball at his feet.

On the 7th of the town he had the opportunity to face him for the extinct South American Super Cup, tournament reserved for only those teams that had won the Copa Libertadores, in the night of September 24, 1997 at the Monumental Stadium.

In the memory it was immortalized the photograph of Barti with his children with Diego, who obviously agreed to record the moment together with one of the greatest idols in the history of the Cacique.

Barti recalled that moment a year after the departure of 10, uploading a publication to his Instagram person with the message “I don’t even remember what I told you, I just know that I was looking at you and I couldn’t believe it!”, to later write “I imagine you dribbling angels.”

That night there was a deserved victory for Colo Colo by 2-1 that closed a remarkable group stage, being a leader above Cruzeiro, Independiente and Boca Juniors with 11 points and only one defeat. This would earn him his way to the semifinals, where he would be eliminated by Sao Paulo.
