Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Victoria have left!
This weekend, Crown Princess Victoria left Haga and the family to travel to Kenya, where she will spend several days.
But the crown princess does not make the trip herself.
Victoria’s good friend Crown Prince Haakon is also in Kenya and the royals will carry out several missions and visits together.

The trip is organized by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and Tuesday began with a breakfast meeting with local UN and UNDP representatives at the Tribe Hotel in Nairobi.
The royals then got to meet the director general of the UN office in Nairobi, Zainab Hawa Bangura.
Afterwards, Victoria and Haakon visited Adanian Labs in Nairobi, then went on to the Kitengela Waste Management Entrepreneurship Hub in Kajiado, together with Kenya’s Environment Minister Rosalinda Soipan Tuya.
It was, in other words, a very busy day for Victoria and Haakon.
And tomorrow is expected to be at least as eventful. According to it royal calendar the crown princess stays in Kenya at least until Friday.
Next week, however, Victoria is back home in Sweden – then a visit to the Forensic Medicine Agency awaits with Prince Daniel.
Crown Princess Mette-Marit on assignment in Norway
But Haakon and Victoria aren’t the only royals who are busy.
On Monday, Crown Princess Mette-Marit also had a busy day, where she visited Norway’s National Museum, among other things.
