Microsoft failure: a network problem
Just go to the Down Detector site to find that the problem started this morning around 8am. And that this bug affects almost all of the services of the Redmond firm. For the time being, Microsoft has acknowledged the problem via its Twitter account: “We have identified a potential network issue and are reviewing telemetry to determine next steps for troubleshooting. »

As always in such cases, it will therefore be necessary to be patient for the many users concerned. Many are already turning to Twitter to react. Like this Internet user who humorously commented on the situation: “Ah, Microsoft has a blackout? So I’m going back to bed”. Others post memes of Microsoft techs lost in the wires trying to fix their own network.

The latter are very agitated on the side of Microsoft. The Redmond firm has just announced a massive layoff plan that will lead to the departure of 10,000 employees, or nearly 5% of its workforce. The management indicates on this subject that the objective is to reduce the company’s costs.
At the same time, Microsoft also announced that it would invest $10 billion in OpenAI, the publisher of ChatGPT. The Tech giant confirms its interest in this AI that it wants to integrate on Bing, but also on its Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook software.
