Modern Warfare II: the first free weekend would arrive on December 15

The battles have been raging on Al-Mazrah for more than a week and now 3 weeks since the multiplayer maps of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II are the scene of frantic combat. As with Modern Warfare 2019, Activision will be reinstating free weekends on the game’s multiplayer to allow free-to-play Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 players to try out Modern Warfare II and, why not, the game? ‘to buy.

A good way to get an opinion on MWII or to advance a few weapons more quickly over the weekend

It was sources close to Activision who allowed Tom Henderson to relay some details regarding this first free multiplayer weekend which should be launched from December 15 until the early hours of December 19. This free weekend would launch one day after the mid-season update, Season 1 Reloaded.

In terms of content, we don’t yet know what this mid-season update can bring us, but we could expect to see the “Shipment” map return. The Free Weekend could also come with a Double XP Weekend as none have launched so far. Tom Henderson also tells us that Black Ops Cold War will receive an update on December 6, without knowing if it is a patch or new content.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0 are available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC as well as Xbox Series X|S and PS5.
