Charlotte, NC.- Without the presence of their role model at the back and team captain, Christian Fuchs, who was injured in the last game against Inter Miami, Charlotte FC fell 0-2 in their own stadium against CF Montreal, in the Major League Soccer (MLS).

The first 15 minutes were study for both teams that controlled the midfield avoiding the connection of the players at the ends, neutralizing the center passes towards the forwards.

Montreal sought to have more possession of the ball and inject more speed into the attack through the Argentine Torres, who became the fundamental piece of the team looking to beat the goal defended by Kahlina.

At 31 minutes, Sergio Ruiz had the opportunity to score and give the local team an advantage, unfortunately he did one too many by retaining the ball when he received a pass near the area from Bronico.

The clearest move of the game came in the 36th minute, when the Brazilian Shinyashiki shot and the ball hit the post, then the rebound went to Swiderski, who sent the ball over the crossbar.

The first goal of the match came for Montreal in the 44th minute, after a run to the right by Quioto who took advantage of the speed to send a low cross that was received by Mihalovic, who practically only beat the Charlotte FC goalkeeper.

Unfortunately, after that play, the Honduran Quioto had to leave the game due to a fall, being replaced by Kei Kamarra.
