Moto edge 30 officially arrives in Mexico with 5G and Dolby Atmos

We must admit that, at least for the case of Mexico, Motorola has opted for a peculiar strategy for the launch of some of its most anticipated high-end and upper-middle-range models.

The moto edge 30 is perhaps one of the clearest examples of this situation. Where we have seen how the company has chosen to first launch the most robust model of a family, to later release the less powerful terminals.

A couple of months ago we saw how the Motorola Moto Edge 30 Pro arrived on national territory, a high-performance terminal with a beastly camera, Dolby Atmos sound, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and cutting-edge hardware for its segment.

The model made its just and deserved noise in recent weeks and now we welcome its younger brother, the most basic model, just as attractive in many aspects and somewhat more accessible in other points.

This is the moto edge 30 that arrives in Mexico

The official Web site from Motorola has just been updated by adding to its catalog the new moto edge 30, an ultra thin terminal unlike the pro model with high qualities in its entrails.

Self-proclaimed as the “thinnest 5G smartphone in the world”, this terminal is just 6.79 millimeters thick, which is a more than attractive argument for its acquisition.

Its weight is also reduced, since it barely reaches 155 grams. More than enough to embed a 6.5-inch FullHD + OLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz.

On top of it all, the moto edge 30 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor, backed by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

This is more than enough for the device to freely run the Android 12 operating system out of the box in one of the purest versions available on the market.

As for its photographic section, we have a triple-lens rear camera. The main 50 MP, backed by a 50 MP ultra wide angle / macro and a 2 MP depth sensor. On the front, the selfie camera is 32 MP.

The battery of the moto edge 30 reaches 4,020 mAh with support for fast charging of 33W, plus support for 5G networks, the integration of Dolby Atmos sound, a fingerprint sensor on the screen, and with gray and blue colors.

All for a price of MXN $11,999. Not bad considering the MXN $25,989 that the pro model costs.
