The detainee Gabriel Nicolás Carrizo, accused of participating in the organization of the attack against Vice President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, had a message on his cell phone stating the will to “kill the head of La Cámpora”, Télam was informed on Monday research sources.
“We are thinking of killing the boss of La Cámpora this time”, “Everyone is coming. We are going to have a group meeting”, are the messages detected on Carrizo’s cell phone that he sent to a person scheduled as ‘Jony White’, so just two hours after the failed attack on the former head of state.
The message, as this agency was able to reconstruct, came from the cell phone of the room arrested for the attack on the Vice President at 11:40 p.m. on September 1 and it would not be the only one that compromises him in the case in which the assassination attempt is being investigated.
The recipient of the message, ‘Jony White’, is a person closely linked to Carrizo whose identity will be withheld so as not to thwart ongoing testing measures in the investigation, the sources said.
Carrizo has been detained since last Wednesday and became known on September 2 when he accompanied Brenda “Ámbar” Uliarte, prosecuted for the attempted attack, during an interview they gave him on Telefe’s television news program.
In that interview, Carrizo introduced himself as the owner of the machine for making the sugar flakes that sold “Ámbar” and her boyfriend, Fernando Sabag Montiel, the man who pointed a Bersa .32-caliber pistol at the Vice President’s head. I had five bullets in the magazine.
Along with Carrizo and Uliarte, Sergio Orozco, Leonardo Volpintesta, Miguel Ángel Castro Riglos and Lucas Acevedo also participated in the interview given to Telefe Noticias.
Of the five who appeared together with Uliarte, until now only Carrizo has been charged in the investigation, while the rest remain in the file as witnesses.
