Package holidays: No more Jahn Reisen catalogs

Frankfurt / Main (dpa / tmn) – Vacation packages from the Jahn Reisen brand will be much less popular in the future. DER Touristik announced that there will be no more Jahn Reisen catalogs for the 2021/22 winter season. The tour operator bundles the offers under the leading brand Dertour – with the note “powered by Jahn Reisen”. However, the Jahn Reisen brand will be retained for online bookings. Goethe adventure trail with selfie stations in Thuringia

Weimar (dpa / tmn) – In Thuringia, visitors will in future be able to walk on the former paths of the love-drunk Goethe between Weimar and Großkochberg. According to letters, the young poet often rushed to see his lover Charlotte von Stein from 1775 to 1788. Several adventure stations and explanatory boards are planned along a 29-kilometer Goethe adventure trail. At selfie points, hikers can record their experiences and share them on social networks, explains the Thuringian Ministry of Economics. The path takes eight hours to walk through the Weimarer Land to Großkochberg.

Cunard is again driving with international guests

Hamburg (dpa / tmn) – Cunard Line is now again taking vacationers who do not come from Great Britain. The “Queen Elizabeth” is the first cruise ship to resume international voyages, the shipping company announced. The ship sails from Southampton on various routes in Western Europe. A prerequisite for traveling with you is a
complete vaccination protection . The “Queen Mary 2” is scheduled to sail again from December 13th, the “Queen Victoria” from April 2022.
