Nice attack trial: François Hollande and Bernard Cazeneuve will testify

The former President of the Republic and the former Minister of the Interior will testify at the bar of the trial of the Nice attack which begins on September 5 in Paris.

A new trial for history with essential witnesses. The trial of the July 14 attack in Nice, which killed 86 people and injured 136 people, will be held from September 5 in Paris. The large courtroom of the Ile de la Cité courthouse in Paris, which has already hosted the November 13 trial for ten months, will bring together victims, civil parties and defendants.

And two former state figures will come to testify at the bar: the former President of the Republic François Hollande and Bernard Cazeneuve, former Minister of the Interior, announced this Saturday evening the Sunday newspaper.

This will not be a first for the two former politicians, they had already testified during the trial of the attacks of November 13. The weekly specifies that the date of the depositions of the two men is not known. The hearing will be broadcast at the Acropolis in Nice and the victims will be able to attend the trial remotely via web radio.
