Bochum declares war on noise. Citizens can participate in updating the noise action plan.
The city of Bochum publishes its updated noise action plan. It can be viewed from Monday, October 18 to Thursday, November 25, in the foyer of the Technical Town Hall, Hans-Böckler-Straße 19.
Noise Action Plan: Citizens can participate
The plan shows concrete measures to reduce noise pollution in the city and to keep quiet places. Citizens have the opportunity to express suggestions, ideas and concerns: in writing to the City of Bochum, Environment and Green Space Office, Hans-Böckler-Straße 19, 44787 Bochum or by email to [email protected] The statements will flow the results into the noise action plan, which is to be adopted by the city council at the beginning of 2022.
Results can be seen on the Internet
The city has already carried out an online participation for the update. Citizens were able to provide information on quiet and loud everyday places as well as the noise at their own place of residence. There was also citizen participation in the individual districts.
The results of both formats are available on the Internet: www.bochum.de/Geoportal under the heading “Noise maps”. The entire planning can be seen on the Internet at www.bochum.de/Laermaktionsplanung .
