Chelsea are guiding the eighth signing of this winter to Stamford Bridge. As the Blues report, right-back Malo Gusto is moving from Olympique Lyon to London and has signed a contract until 2030. The FT-affiliate site Foot Mercato knew in advance about the agreement to report.

Gusto’s contract at Lyon ran until 2024, so Chelsea will also pay a significant fee for the 19-year-old Frenchman. To date, the club in the capital has already moved 460 million euros in transfer fees this season. Gusto does not even have to be the end of the line.
At Chelsea, the France U21 international competes with Reece James (23) and César Azpilicueta (33). Gusto has also been linked with FC Bayern in the recent past, but is now continuing the career in blue.
