The Philharmonic Orchestra of the State of Chihuahua (Ofech) kicked off the summer season today, Thursday, August 4, in the courtyard of the Government Palace with the show “Con-Cierto Humor”, which under the baton of the director of the OFECH, maestro Iván del Prado, brings together classical composers such as Rossini, Beethoven, Julius Fucik and Félix Mendelssohn.
With a full venue, healthy distance, sanitary measures such as the use of face masks and temperature measurement upon entering, people were able to enjoy the different melodies with humorous touches that the music director from Cubo usually does between each performance.
The foregoing, in order to promote a taste for orchestral music among the population, spread the fine arts and promote the exercise of the cultural rights of all Chihuahuans.
On Friday the 19th, the concert “Vivaldi, las Estaciones”, by the composer Antonio Vivaldi, will be offered, with “Primavera” by the violinist Virna Pacheco, also under the direction of Iván del Prado; In addition, the piece “Verano” will be performed by María Valentinova, followed by “Otoño” by Osvaldo Loaiza, to close with “Invierno”, where Arminé Onikovna performs.
On Friday the 26th the season closes with “Del rock al danzón”, where Alejandro Rico will participate as guest director, with the intervention of the Chihuahuan singer Ulises Galván, as soloist.
All the events will be offered at 7:00 p.m. at the Government Palace, located at 901 Aldama Street, in the Centro neighborhood of the city of Chihuahua.
