Olympiacos Piraeus has found a new coach. The Spaniard Míchel takes over from the Greek record champions. The 59-year-old succeeds his compatriot Carlos Corberán (39), who only took over as coach in the summer but was sacked after a poor start to the season.
For Míchel, it’s a return to his former club. He was already on the sidelines at Olympiakos between 2013 and 2015 and was twice Greek champion and once cup winner with the club. He was under contract with Getafe FC until October 2021, since then he has been without a club.
