Colo Colo will face Unión Española this afternoon in the first leg for the Copa Chile semifinals. The return of the public to the Monumental will be the great novelty of this match, which has a significant number of players from the squad without ever having had this experience.
Many made their debut in professionalism in the midst of the pandemic, others came to reinforce the squad in the midst of the sanitary restrictions that changed the conditions of football shows and although last weekend they already played with an audience against, they have not had the possibility of playing with the support of the white fans.
Maximiliano Falcón, Ignacio Jara, Emiliano Amor, Miiko Albornoz, Leonardo Gil, Bruno Gutiérrez, Daniel Gutiérrez, Jeyson Rojas and Pablo Solari. Others have already had the possibility to play with the public, but not in official matches, they are on that list Joan Cruz, Vicente Pizarro and Luciano Arriagada.
Many players have already expressed their desire to see people in the stands, including Maximiliano Falcón and Pablo Solari were part of an institutional video where they showed their joy at being able to meet the fans of the popular cast.
However, not everyone will have the possibility, the training that Gustavo Quinteros would present would be with: Brayan Cortés; Bruno Gutiérrez, Maximiliano Amor, Emiliano Amor, Gabriel Suazo; Vicente Pizarro, César Fuentes; Gabriel Costa, Joan Cruz; Iván Morales and Marcos Bolados.
The match between Colo Colo and Unión Española will begin to be played at 5:00 p.m. and will have a capacity of 5,800 spectators who will be distributed in the different locations of the stadium, in accordance with the health protocols delivered by the authority.
