Mexico City.- Prince George and Princess Charlotte walked behind Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin at her great-grandmother’s funeral after they had not participated in any events.
The two eldest children of Prince William and Catherine Middleton looked solemn as they arrived at London’s Westminster Abbey with their mother.
The future king, 9, wore a navy blue suit and tie, while his sister, 7, wore a black dress and matching hat, Page Six described.
The Princess of Wales paired her black gown with a veil and pearl necklace once worn by the late monarch.
The Prince of Wales traveled to the service separately, arriving at Westminster Hall in a vehicle with his father, King Charles III, while his brother, Prince Harry, was in the car behind them.
Prince Louis, 4, did not attend the service due to his young age, and Middleton told Australia’s Governor-General David Hurley that his little boy has been “asking questions” about the death, which he is trying to understand.
