Problems for Ted Lasso, the production of the third season is slow

The latest report circulated on the net has aroused concern among fans of Ted Lasso, the irreverent TV series for Apple + created by Bill Lawrence (the creator of Scrubs). Apparently there would be problems in the production of the third season due to a change of the scripts, rewritten from scratchand the invasion of Ukraine: Stamford Bridge (Chelsea stadium) became temporarily out of use after club owner Abramovich sold it to Russia.

The production of the third season of Ted Lasso is slow

Also according to the indiscretion, arrived from the online newspaper Puck, co-creator and star Jason Sudeikis pushed for dramatic changes to the script, and consequently to the characters, once filming had already begun. The new episodes will present a time jump and it seems that Ted’s journey, played by Jason Sudeikis, is ready to end. It hasn’t been confirmed yet, but Ted Lasso’s third season should be his last.

Thanks to Ted Lasso Jason made history as the first leading actor in a new comedy series to win an Emmy for Best Performance and Best Series. Ted Lasso took home seven Emmys in all. The acclaimed series also stars Hannah Waddingham, Brendan Hunt, Jeremy Swift, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Phil Dunster and Nick Mohammed. In addition to acting, Sudeikis is executive producer, alongside Bill Lawrence with his studio Doozer Productions, and in association with Warner Bros. and Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.

Given the enormous popularity of the series, however, it is not to be excluded that the producers may decide to make spin-offs or other set projects in the same narrative universe. Ted Lasso (our opinion here) is a TV series based on the fictional character Jason Sudeikis starred in 2013 in a series of sponsored promotions for NBC Sports. He is an American football coach from a Kansas college who is hired to coach a football team in England, despite having no experience in the world of football.
