The ATM network Banelco and payments with credit and debit cards Visa suffered severe failures in during the afternoon today, according to multiple complaints registered on social networks. Sources from the financial sector confirmed to Infobae that the company network went down Prism, which prevented normal operations from being carried out.

No other explanation was given as to the causes of the problem, which spread throughout the afternoon and affected millions of operations.

However, it could not manage payments with Visa cards either. The fault, in principle, was in the network of Visa’s main issuing processor, which is Prisma.
