Although raindrops fell in the morning, 13 Kneippians started the planned hike. We traveled to Schwarzenberg-Stüben by train and bus in an environmentally friendly way. From there we hiked partly uphill on the Mörike hiking trail.

The weather improved noticeably and lots of crocuses, cowslips and marigolds lined the path. The colorful carpet of flowers and the beautiful panoramic view of the Bregenzerwald delighted the nature lovers. Soon we reached the Lustenauer Hütte and a lunch break and refreshment was welcome. We hiked back along the woodpecker path, past the small moor lake and the Bödele chapel dedicated to St. Benedict, before taking public transport back to Götzis.
