The Chihuahua State Attorney General’s Office did not locate clues of shootings in the south of the state, where it had been reported that 18 people were killed in attacks involving cells of the Sinaloa Cartel over the past weekend.

No evidence of any recent confrontation with human losses was found in the region of Guadalupe and Calvo, after the versions that have transcended, “said the agency headed by Roberto Javier Fierro Duarte.

According to official report of this October 13, the authorities deployed an operation for three days, when the facts became known.

At the time, local media, correspondents and users in networks reported on the alleged clash between criminal factions. But no bodies have been found or anything that confirms acts of violence in the region and on the day reported.

“The patrols that have spread to gaps and neighborhood roads continue, where they have interviewed the inhabitants themselves, who have ruled out any confrontation”, Reiterated the state prosecutor’s office.

Meanwhile, the South District Prosecutor’s Office assured that maintained a tracking operation in the communities of San José del Rincón, Santa Rita and the community of San Jerónimo, within the municipality of Guadalupe y Calvo. Well, a battle between antagonistic groups was reported in Frijolar.

“Personnel of the State Investigation Agency has remained with the works, patrols, traces, proceedings and interviews, in which residents have stated that they have not seen armed people and / or heard firearm detonations or some characteristic that deduced a confrontation ”, emphasized the ministerial unit.

On your preliminary report of October 12, the Chihuahua Prosecutor’s Office he had not found any corpse, nor did he refer to the drug war between criminal factions in the area. Police agents attended the situation, but had not highlighted any eventuality.

Local media published that an attack had been unleashed between cells of the Sinaloa Cartel and the New Juarez Cartel, but other versions pointed out that it was a dispute within the group transnational led by Ismael Zambada García, the Mayo.

According to these reports, the events would have occurred between October 8 and 10, but the authorities have not established further details to support the attack.

So far only two versions have been reported: either that it was one more territorial dispute, or that they faced the Ramoncillos of the Mendívil clan and the criminal gang of Leonel “C”, aka the 3000, belonging to New people and headed by the willow family. The latter, according to local press reports.

One of the events that supports the second hypothesis is the murder of José Luis Chávez Aguirre, the JL, who was allegedly executed on Friday of last week. Presumably, the local capo would have taken unauthorized attributions by other cells of the Sinaloa Cartel and from there would derive the retaliation that also included his brother.

Another faction, presumably a participant in the internal fracture, would be that led by a subject with surnames Corral Portillo, with roots in communities in Durango and Sinaloa, which have also clashed with the leaders of Gente Nueva.
