Game replenishment for the run-up to Christmas: the Soulslike in particular is a good addition to any game collection.
Apparently the PlayStation Plus games are back for the next month – December, no joke! – leaked. There are a few interesting titles, although the real bang is a PS4 title. However, that doesn’t matter, because it also runs on the PlayStation 5.
For the fourth month in a row, the PS Plus games are in advance in the French forum Dealabs popped up. The last predictions were correct and also with the Xbox Games with Gold for December they got it right. This is of course not yet a confirmation, but an indication that it could be true this time too.
The titles are Godfall Challenger Edition for PS5 and PS4. Such an edition is not yet known, so it could be a new one. With it you’ll get Lego DC Super Villains for PS4 and especially Mortal Shell (also “only” the PS4 version).
While Lego DC Super Villains are the typical TT Games merchandise that never disappoints, actually always works, but also rarely really inspires, Moral Shell is, in my opinion, one of the best Soulslikes that money can buy.
You can read about it in detail in my Mortal Shell Test, but the bottom line is that it spreads an incredibly good, morbid mood that is not even completely copied from the template. The combat system is also great, because you can harden your figure into a stone, invulnerable statue at any time, which gives the fights their very own rhythm.
Godfall on the other hand was the usual blender at the start of a generation of graphics, especially in terms of reflections and lighting effects, which lacked an identity of its own. Martin still had fun with Godfall, if not always in the intended way. In the months since the release, a lot is said to have happened on the looter slasher. Maybe it’s time to take another look at how the game blossomed.
If the leak is wrong and something changes in the selection, we will inform you immediately.
Until the games are available for download in early December, you can still download the November titles on PlayStation Plus. Among other things, the remaster of Kingdoms of Amalur is included.
