A man, spotted with a gun in hand by passers-by, was arrested by the police. He is suspected of having killed his girlfriend. Two other individuals are on the run.
During the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, the police were called to Lempdes, in Puy-de-Dôme, by passers-by worried about having seen a man come out of a building with a gun in his hand, learned BFMTV from police sources.
In the apartment where the police intervene, they discover the lifeless body of a young woman in her twenties. Officers quickly spot the suspect and arrest him as he tries to flee and get rid of his weapon. He ends up telling the police where he dropped her off.
No history of domestic violence
The individual, also in his twenties, spontaneously declares having shot his companion. This Wednesday, the suspect is still in police custody as part of an investigation opened for “spousal homicide” and entrusted to the departmental security of Clermont-Ferrand. According to our information, the main suspect has no history of domestic violence.
Two other men, with whom the suspect was at the time of the facts, fled, specifies the parquet floor of Clermont-Ferrand to AFP.
