Colo Colo continues its winning streak after winning 1-0 in its visit to Santa Laura against Unión Española, a rival that it will have to face again in a couple of days for the first leg of the Copa Chile semifinals.
Gustavo Quinteros warned after the meeting that they will come a series of changes in equipment resulting from injuries, stating that it will be difficult to repeat the team that has been playing in recent weeks.
“Jeyson Rojas, Joan Cruz and Gabriel Costa were injured, but I don’t think any of them are serious. Whoever is not for Wednesday, should be for Saturday. We also have players ready to replace them ”, he claimed.
In that sense, the white strategist argued that “It will be difficult to repeat the team on Wednesday in the Chile Cup, we have three injured players. Costa was a blow, he shouldn’t have a problem, but the issue of Cruz and Rojas, who are two juniors, is something more muscular. You have to see how they react and the studies. We hope it is nothing serious. One was due to a bad effort and the other due to fatigue because he has been playing a lot. But I have faith that they will recover soon ”.
Finally, the Santa Fe detailed the injury of Leonardo Gil, who could not be at Santa Laura because he was out at the last minute: “Gil gives us a lot of football, he enables, but we take care of him for a small muscle injury, we will see if it is for Wednesday or if we will not use it on the weekend. It is not serious ”.

“We are giving Parraguez all the tools in training sessions, in friendlies, so that he can get better, faster, so that he can be called up. Today Valencia was called up, who had not come for a while and played, every day he is better. Those friendlies during the week are for these players, we want them fast, with football for when the team needs them ”, Quinteros concluded.
Colo Colo will face the Spanish Union in the First leg of the semifinals of the Chile Cup this Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. at the Monumental, a venue that will receive the Albos fans after a year without its people.
