Realme TV Stick is advertised with Google TV and 4K support

A Realme took advantage of the global launch of the GT Neo 2 to announce this Wednesday (13), its first dongle for content playback on televisions. Following the formula of Amazon Fire TV Stick, its main competitor, the device named as Realme 4K Smart Google TV Stick TV is nothing more than a large flash drive that can be inserted into the port HDMI of older televisions in order to turn them into smart TV, that is, a smart TV.

The Realme TV Stick comes equipped with a quad-core processor that works together with a GPU dual-core, but did not reveal which model of the chip specifically. It also has 2 GB RAM e 8GB of internal storage.

Realme TV Stick Features

The device supports HDMI 2.1 and this allows content to play on the 4K resolution at 60fps. In addition, it has the image pattern HDR10+ and AV1 codec. To facilitate user interaction with the product, the company also provides a Remote Control which brings microphone to Google Assistant.

Furthermore, the operating system employed in the Realme 4K Smart Google TV Stick TV is the Google TV, platform recently announced in Brazil, which aims to bring together all streaming platforms and expand interaction with content in a personalized way.

Price and availability

For now, the Realme 4K Smart Google TV Stick TV it is only available in the Indian market and there is still no information about its launch in other markets, including Brazil. There, the device can be ordered by Flipkart, India’s leading retail chain, and costs 3,999 rupees, something around R$ 294 in direct conversion and without considering Brazilian taxes.
